We have a cat C7 engine that we are replacing a injector in. The new injector came with a CD that contains trim files. I can only assume these files are for the Cat program to update the ECM’s fuel settings. We currently use a Pro-Link scanner to trouble shoot Cat engines, so we will not be able to install these files. On the CAT SIS Home page there is a tab called "Service Software Files". (Right hand side of screen) In there you can select Injector Trim Files and Type in your Injector Serial Number and download the file to your PC. Then you can upload the file from the PC using CAT ET like you would with the disks. He did alot of work with injector trim codes. Testing flow of each.
